The City of Elk River shall hold a public hearing on June 12, 2019, 9:00 a.m. at the Andrew Bloom Community Center, 112 S Second St., Elk River, Idaho to obtain public input as to the proposed sale of real property in the City of Elk River who’s address is 129 Votech Lane, Elk River, Idaho and is legally described as follows:

Beginning at the Quarter Section corner between Sections 26 and 27, Township 40 North, Range 2 East Boise Meridian; thence north on the Section line between sections 26 and 27 a distance of 240 feet to a point where it intersects with 4th Street; thence northerly along the westerly border of 4th Street to the intersection of Fir Street and 4th Street; thence easterly across 4th Street to the north western corner of Lot 7, Block 13; thence straight across Fir Street to the south western corner of Lot 12, Block 21; thence straight across 4th Street to its westerly border; thence northerly along the westerly border of 4th Street to the line of right away of State Highway 8; thence southeasterly along the line of right away of State Highway 8 to its intersection with the northerly border of Lot 6, Block 12; thence westerly along the northerly border of Block 12 to its intersection with the easterly border of 4th Street; thence southerly along the easterly border of 4th Street to the southwesterly corner of Lot 12, Block 12, thence straight across 4th Street to its westerly boundary, thence along the westerly border of 4th Street to a point directly opposite the northwesterly corner of Lot 7, Block 5; thence easterly of the northwesterly corner of Lot 7, Block 5; thence southerly along the easterly border of 4th Street to the southwesterly corner of Lot 12, Block 5; thence straight across 4th Street to a point on its westerly border; thence northerly along the westerly border of 4th Street to the Section line of Section 26; thence westerly along the Section Line to the point of beginning.

The value of the property to be sold is; $80,000; which shall be minimum bid. The property shall be sold by sealed bid to the highest responsible bidder. The City Council, in considering bids, may carry a contract on the sale for up to ten (10) years, with twenty percent (20%) of the purchase price as a down payment. The Proposed Date of Sale is July 17, 2019, at 9:00 a.m. The purpose of the hearing is to obtain public regarding the property sale.
