NOTICE REGARDING MAY 18, 2021 CONSOLIDATED ELECTION

AND ONLY ONE CANDIDATE HAS FILED FOR TAXING DISTRICT POSITION

NO ELECTION SHALL BE HELD FOR FOLLOWING TAXING DISTRICTS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the deadline has passed for filing a declaration of intent for a write-in candidate, for the May 18, 2021 Consolidated Election and it appears that only one (1) qualified candidate has been nominated for each position in the following taxing districts and it is not necessary for the candidates to stand for election. The board from each taxing district listed below shall make and deliver a certificate of election to the candidates for the positions for which they are considered to be elected under the Idaho Statutes for each particular taxing district. The following is a listing of the Taxing Districts and nominees for which no election will be held, and the candidates elected are listed below:

Pierce Library District Trustee - two positions – 6-year terms - Karen Hope and Michael W. Kluwe

Clearwater Highway District, Commissioner Dist. 1, 4-year term – Mike Dahl

Clearwater Highway District Commissioner Dist. 2, 4-year term - Marvin Gibbar

Ahsahka Water and Sewer District – Board Member, 6-year term – Lawrence M. Kaufman

Judgetown Water and Sewer District – Board Member, 2-year term – Ronaine Kinard

Riverside Water and Sewer District - two positions - Board Members, 6-year term – Michael J. Dugger and John B Cooke

Orofino/Whiskey Creek Water and Sewer District – two positions- Board Member, 6-year term – Susan Adams and Frances Epperson

NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that an election will be held on May 18, 2021 for the following taxing districts:

Clearwater Library District for a trustee election, with 6-year term, two positions, Don Ebert, and Robert Wilhelm and Clearwater Library District trustee election with 2-year term, one position, Marge Carlson, and Norman Tomlinson.

Elk River Library District for Trustee Election with 2-year term, three positions, Jenny Bailey, Christina Bartlett, DeEtta Mitchell and Richard L. Styre.

City of Elk River Water Bond in the amount of $2,500,000.00

Nezperce Joint School District Supplemental Levy election in the amount of $445,000.00

Whitepine Joint School District Supplemental Levy election in the amount of $ 880,000.00

The official Notice of Election for the May 18, 2021 election will be published on May 5, 2021.
