Art and Deniece Osterberg have submitted an application to Orofino City Planning and Zoning for a Special Use request at 162 Riverside Avenue.

Pursuant to established procedure, Orofino City Code 11-2-13 Special Uses, the Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Sept. 15, at 6 p.m. at Orofino City Hall, 217 First Street in Orofino.

The purpose of the public hearing is to make a recommendation to the City Council on the Special Use application.

The City Council will make the final decision at their regularly scheduled Council meeting on Sept. 22, at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Orofino City Hall at 217 First Street in Orofino

Summary of application for Special Use

The Special Use application from Art and Deniece Osterberg to allow residential living on the first story or street level in the Central Business District. Residential living on the second floor is allowed without a Special Use within the Central Business District.

This type of request is required to be a Special Use per City Code of Orofino - Title 11, Chapter 2,Section 7-B.

The property is located at 162 Riverside Avenue in Orofino, Section 7, Township 36 North, Range 2 East, Government Lot 8, Orofino Blakes Addition and zoned C-3 Central Business District.
