Sealed bid proposals will be received by Joint School District 171 for the Timberline Elementary Classroom Addition.

The work consists of a 4,100 sf one story wood frame classroom addition to an existing 4,320 sf masonry building located at 22869 Highway 11, Weippe, Idaho.

Bidding documents for the project were prepared by Brotnov Architecture & Planning in Clarkston.

Availability of Bidding Documents: Bona fide general contractors may obtain the contract documents electronically by emailing Jerry Brotnov at Copies of the contract documents may be examined at the District Office 1145 Riverside Avenue, Orofino, Idaho and electronically at the following Plan Centers: Tri-Cities, Lewis and Clark, Spokane Regional and Abadan Regional.

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at this location for contractors and subcontractors on the December 3rd at 2:00 pm at. 22869 Highway 11. Sealed Bids will be publicly opened December 13th at 5:00pm at the District Office 1145 Riverside Avenue, Orofino, Idaho. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Certified or Cashier’s Check on an Idaho bank, or bid bond, with Idaho State Licensed Surety Company, as surety, in an amount not less than 5% of total bid, made payable to Joint School District 171. This surety shall be forfeited by the Bidder in the event of failure to sign the contract or furnish the necessary 100% Performance Bond and the necessary 100% Payment Bond. Bidders shall be licensed in the State of Idaho, in accordance with provisions of an act known as “Public Works Contractor’s State License Law, Title 54, Chapter 19, Idaho Code Amended.” The Term “Public Works Contractors” includes the general contractor, subcontractor, or specialty contractor. The bidder’s name must agree to the name on the public works license that is referenced in the bid. The contractor shall comply with the Equal Employment Opportunity Provisions as defined in the code of respective Federal Regulations. The successful Contractor(s) shall carry out their employment practices and payment of wages according to the provisions of an act known as “Public Works Title 44, Chapter 10, Section 44-1001 through 44-1006 inclusive, Idaho Code Amended.
