Students at Peck Elementary recently released their two Pacific Lamprey that have been housed at the school for two months. Students learned all about the lamprey and learned to take great care of them. Before the release, students clipped a piece of the fin of the lamprey so they could track the DNA and then released them into Canyon Creek.

When students returned they were treated to lunch by Boyd and Millie Brookshier, of Peck.  The students were served hot dogs, chips, drinks and snow cones.
