Orofino Rotary Vice President Susie Larson led the meeting Feb. 8. Several announcements included the availability of tickets for the upcoming “Louisiana Style Catfish Fry” at the Ponderosa Restaurant on March 16. Jim McCann will be asking for Rotarians to sign up to help with any of the many preparations it takes to put a feast like this together. The more the merrier!

Annie Lozar announced that she recently learned of interest in creating a Rotaract club to include Moscow, Lewiston, Clarkston and Orofino, which will meet in Lewiston. She was very excited with the news and explained how Rotaract clubs bring together people ages 18-25, to exchange ideas with leaders in the community, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun through service. The club is looking for a little financial assistance from neighboring Rotarians to help with initial expenses. For questions or concerns, either Annie or Susie will be glad to share more information.
