    The Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America, one of the most successful and popular charity rides in the country, is coming to Kooskia on May 14 for its 23rd annual motorcycle trek! Former NASCAR driver and NBC Sports racing analyst Kyle Petty will lead 200 bikers on a weeklong, 2,400-mile route to raise funds and awareness for Victory Junction – a camp dedicated to providing life-changing camping experiences for children with chronic or life-threatening illnesses.

    Join us at the 27th annual Yellow Pine Music and Harmonica Festival August 5, 6 & 7, 2016 in Yellow Pine, ID.  This family-friendly festival is focused on the music of the harmonica and also embraces all music genres. Meet new and old friends while enjoying the music of life in this pristine mountain setting.  Enjoy live music all three days!  The fun starts each morning at 10am.  Be a part of, or just listen to, the music parade and jam sessions. This year we are proud to feature Tony Holiday and the Velvetones. There are performances by other nationally known artists; music workshops; and the always popular, “Harmonica Masters at Play”.

    The Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office prescription drug drop-off box will be in the cannon park in conjunction with the Community Clean-up from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 30.

    Orofino Community Clean-up Day takes place from 7 a.m. to 12 noon at Orofino City Park. Participants can pick up trash bags at 7 a.m. Hot dogs and German dogs will be provided to participants from 11:30 a.m. to 12 noon.
