Clearwater main stem -
Lower: From the Camas Prairie Railroad Bridge at Lewiston upstream to the Cherry
Lane Bridge.

Clearwater main stem -
Middle: From the Cherry Lane Bridge upstream to the Orofino Bridge.
§
Clearwater main stem -
Upper: From the Orofino Bridge upstream to the South Fork Clearwater River.
§
North Fork Clearwater: From
its mouth upstream to Dworshak Dam (See Special Restrictions on Page 4 of 2012
Seasons and Rules Brochure).
§
Middle Fork Clearwater: From
its confluence with the South Fork Clearwater upstream to the confluence of the
Lochsa and Selway rivers.
The daily limit in the
above waters is four Chinook salmon, only one of which may be an adult; the
possession limit is 12 fish, only three of which may be adults.
Also open until further
notice are:

South Fork Clearwater: From
its mouth upstream to the confluence of American and Red rivers.
§
Lochsa: From its mouth
upstream to the Twin Bridges immediately upstream from the confluence of Crooked
Fork and Colt Killed creeks
§
Lower Salmon - Park Hole:
From the U.S. Highway 95 Time Zone Bridge upstream to the mouth of Short's
Creek.
§
Little Salmon - Lower: From
the mouth upstream to a posted boundary about 200 yards upstream of the mouth of
Rapid River.
§
Little Salmon - Upper: From
the posted boundary about 200 yards upstream of the mouth of Rapid River
upstream to the U.S. Highway 95 Bridge near Smokey Boulder Road.
§
South Fork Salmon River -
Lower: From the bridge on Forest Service Road 48 (Lick Creek/ East Fork South
Fork Road) where it crosses the main stem South Fork Salmon River just upstream
of the confluence with the East Fork South Fork Salmon River, upstream about 18
river miles to the Blackmare Creek pack bridge, accessed from the trailhead at
Poverty Flat Campground.

South Fork Salmon River -
Upper: From Blackmare Creek pack bridge, accessed from the trailhead at Poverty
Flat Campground upstream about 17 river miles to a posted boundary about 100
yards downstream from the Idaho Fish and Game South Fork Salmon River weir and
trap.
§
Upper Salmon River - Ellis
Area: From the posted boundary about 100 yards upstream of the mouth of the
Pahsimeroi River upstream to the Highway 75 Salmon River bridge approximately
250 yards upstream of the mouth of the East Fork Salmon River.
§
Upper Salmon River -
Stanley: From the Highway 75 Salmon River bridge about 250 yards upstream of the
mouth of the East Fork Salmon River upstream to the posted boundary about 100
yards downstream of the weir and trap at Sawtooth Hatchery south of Stanley.
§
Snake River - Hells Canyon:
From Dug Bar boat ramp upstream to Hells Canyon Dam.
The daily limit in the
above waters is four Chinook salmon, only two of which may be adults, and the
possession limit is 12 fish, only six of which may be adults.
In all the above waters, the
statewide season limit is 20 adult salmon during any 2012 salmon seasons
occurring before Sept. 1.
