Haw Hee
Haw Hee was once again a success. There were over 200 in attendance, so you can figure more than half the town was there. All the usual characters were on stage and the antics were hilarious. Timely comments were heard from KORN news. Fluffy’s Beauty Shop and Al’s Barber Shop provided the usual hilarity. Always fun to see other people making fools of themselves, especially in such sartorial splendor. Hosts Ted Leach and Merk Cannell, along with Carolyn Bray, provided laughs, patter and music. Cindy Miles and Jonathan Miles provided some toe tapping violin and guitar music. All under the direction of Director Susie Larson.
Something new this year was the dessert social with desserts provided by the Weippe Rebekah Lodge. Vickie Jorgenson of the Lodge said they appreciate the support of the community and thank the Hilltop Players for providing the opportunity.
May you all have a grand Thanksgiving.
