Lillian M. Dalberg, 88, Orofino
She was born May 31, 1921, at Lake Oswego, OR to Louie and Zenobia Weidman. She moved to Dayton, WA, with her parents, brothers and sister. Lillian married LaVern Dalberg June 13, 1940. Her children are Linda and Charles Haag, Orofino and Larry and Maryellen Dalberg, Seward, AK. She has six grandchildren, Diana Haag, Holly and Ramiro Sosa, Tracy Haag, Denise and Stephen Duren, Brittany and Heather Dalberg. Also six great-grandchildren, Nathan, Justin, Grayson, Shae, Christopher and Samantha; brother, Kenny and wife Lottie Weidman, Seattle, WA; sister-in-law, Julie Dalberg; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband LaVern and her great-grandson, Trevor. A life celebration will be in the spring. |

Mary Ann Adams, 72, Spokane
Mary was born Dec. 16, 1936 in Peck. She attended Peck Elementary and Orofino High School. She married Charles Adams in 1955 in Lewiston. They made their home in Spokane, WA. Mary worked in the travel industry for a number of years and traveled extensively during that time. She was known for her outgoing personality and her sharp wit. Mary is survived by her husband of 54 years, Charles Adams; children Kayla Johnson (Cliff) of Spokane, David Adams (Ani) of Las Vegas, NV and Ginny Moran (Brian) of Spokane; six grandchildren, Ryan, Andy, Will, Brianna, Ben and Sam; two brothers, Bill and Punch Deyo; and numerous other family members. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Bud Deyo and sister Joyce Stach. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21 at Heritage Funeral Home 508 N. Tiny Warnken, 81, Missoula, MTThelma (Tiny) Williams Warnken, passed away Nov. 9, 2009 in Missoula, MT at St. Pat’s Hospital of an apparent heart attack. She was 81. She was born and raised in Orofino, where she attended school. She married Jim Crutcher in 1946 and this marriage ended in divorce. She moved to Superior, MT where she met and married Gerald Warnken. They raised two children there, owned and operated a logging company and worked hard developing the ranch they both loved. Gerald passed away in 1991 and Tiny retired to Missoula to be near family. She is survived by two children, brothers Rodger and Dave and sister Shirley and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents Jack and Hazel Williams, sisters Florence and Lola and brother Jack. A memorial service will be held in Superior, MT at a later date. She will be missed. |
Clayton O. Lyda, 76, LewistonClayton O. Lyda passed away Friday, Nov. 13, 2009 in Lewiston at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. He was 76. He was born to Priscilla Dunton Lyda and Perry Lyda. He attended school in Orofino and graduated from Orofino High School. He worked for the Camas Prairie Railroad in Lewiston as a dispatcher. Later he went into Real Estate, which lasted until his death. He never married. He is survived by two brothers, Jesse and Perk Lyda, both of Orofino; sister, Betty L. Johnson, Thorp, WA. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; sister, Lorree Huitt and brother, Sam Lyda. At his request, cremation has taken place and no service is planned. |

Casey Shane Spencer, 41, Nampa
He was born in Orofino on July 3, 1968, the son of Steve Spencer and Trish Meyers. He grew up and attended school in Weippe, later receiving his GED. Casey was an avid fisherman, always out-fishing everyone. He also loved swimming and spending time on the North Fork with his family. He is survived by his wife Traci and daughters, Stephenie, Sierena, Emma, Tiffany and Sophie, due in three weeks; his son Kaden and daughter, Casey; his father and step-mom, Steve and Connie Spencer; brothers, Zane and wife Holly and Carl Spencer. Also surviving him are nieces and nephews, Tres’, Tristen, Rikki, Kade and Conner; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hank and Burl Spencer, and grandfather, Glen Jones. A celebration of his life will be held in the summer on the North Fork. |
