Many of the health professional will have drawings for a free comprehensive exam at their office.

The following health screening services will be available:

Medical: St. Mary’s Hospital’s Kamiah Medical Clinic and Clearwater Valley Hospital’s Kooskia Medical Clinic will offer free finger stick blood glucose testing, free fecal occult blood test kits for colorectal cancer screening, and free coupons for a cholesterol panel, kidney function, liver function and hematology tests.

Northwest Blood Bank will be in the parking lot from 3 to 7 p.m. Come donate blood and save a life. Persons ages 16 and 17 must have parental consent forms filled out. Persons under age 16 cannot donate. Tattoos and piercings are deferred for one year from the date that they received them.

Picture identification must be presented and must include both first and last names, or you cannot be registered. Please be hydrated and have eaten before you donate. Free food and drinks will be available inside for those who need it after they donate blood.

Last year over 300 children and chaperoning adults came to the event. Even more are expected this year.
