Farmers’ Market vendor of the week: New Growth Garden
Under the supervision of Mike Powell, State Hospital North planted a
vegetable garden approximately five to six years ago to provide
fresh produce for the hospital’s clients. Year after year, the
garden grew and prospered and patients were able to reap the
benefits of fresh vegetables on site.

planned near Syringa
The Clearwater National Forest’s Lochsa Ranger District plans to
ignite a prescribed burn near the community of Syringa when burning
conditions are favorable over the next few weeks.
