CLEARWATER TRIBUNE HOME

SEPTEMBER 24, 2009

Where have all our children gone?

This week’s Mystery Children features three young ladies from a family of eight children. The children were all born and raised in Orofino, and lived in the Grangemont area. Their mother was a music teacher and their father worked for the White Pine Lumber Company. The child on the right lives here still.

Can you guess this week’s Mystery Child?

Last week’s Mystery Child was Penny (Marshall) Coon.

Penny is an excellent cook. She sews and makes quilts, enjoys flower gardening and bowling. In addition to working at Riverside Lanes and keeping books for a logging company, Penny also worked as a clerk for Hayes Foods on Riverside, and at what used to be R & R Foods in Pierce. She has four kids, nine grandkids and three great grandkids.

The first person to call and correctly identify last week’s Mystery Child was Carolyn Adams, followed by Gayle Lashly and Judy Hacker.
