Where have all our children gone?

   This week’s Mystery Child won honorable mention in a baby contest in Latah County at the age of three months. She was born in Moscow in 1947, but raised in Ahsahka. She attended schools in both Ahsahka and Orofino.

   She married a logger, and kept books for a logging company. She also worked at Riverside Lanes for years.

   Can you guess this week’s Mystery Child?

   Last week’s Mystery Child was Nancy (Stillmock) Umphenour.

   Nancy has seven children; all of them went to school here for a while. The oldest son raced motorcycles in the early eighties. She has had the Cottage Salon for six years and has styled hair for 15 years in Orofino.

   Dana Losey submitted the one and only correct guess for last week’s Mystery Child. (Nancy is his mother-in-law!)
