Moslee re-subdivision application approved

August 24

   The Clearwater County Board of Commissioners held a public hearing on the following Planning and Zoning Application. (SUB090070) A re-subdivision request by Andre and Arla Molsee and Robert and Laurie Curry to re-plat Block 1, Lots 1 and 2 (28.35 acres) as shown on the previously recorded plat of Elk River Estates. Lot-1A 15.00 acres, Lot-1B 1.38 acres, Lot-1C 1.23 acres, Lot-1D 1.38 acres, Lot-1E 2.08 acres, Lot-1F 0.14 acres, Lot-1G 1.00 acres, Lot-1H 0.13 acres, and Lot-2A 6.01 acres. This property is located in Section 26, Township 40 North, Range 02 East, located adjacent to Larch Street within the city limits of Elk River; Zoned Medium Density Rural District F-2.

   Upon review of the staff findings and P&Z Commission approval of a variance and recommendations the Board approved the request on the Re-subdivision application by Andre and Arla Molsee and Robert and Lauri Curry since it appears to meet the minimum requirements of the Clearwater Zoning Ordinance.

Records destruction

   Clerk Carrie Bird met with the Board to review the request for records destruction. There are old records in the Auditor/Recorder’s office that are no longer necessary and are not considered permanent or semi permanent records. Also, they approved and signed Resolution No. 09-08-11 for records retention and approved the destruction by shredding of the listed records.

New/Ongoing/Other Business

   The Board approved and signed the renewal registration to purchase property from the Bureau of Federal Surplus Property.

   The Board approved to cancel the taxes on the value of $1120 on tax number RP40NO11E300003A. The Board also approved and signed the payroll and expense claims.

Cancellation of taxes

   The Board approved the cancellation of taxes on the value of $1120 on RP40NO11E300003A; to cancel the $8.79 on MHPONOAH000100, for remaining 2008 taxes; cancel $6.08 on 2008 taxes on MH36NO2E04280A; to cancel taxes of $32.10 on MH37NO1E336010A; to cancel taxes of $8.42 on PP07116; to cancel the 2008 taxes of $289.04 on LR35NO4E195402T; and cancellations on the following parcels: PP07009 in the amount of $1.09; MHPOCWTR000100T in the amount of $1.11; PP10067 in the amount of $1.88; MHPOSVRT000060A in the amount of $1.15; PP10208 in the amount of $3.02.

   There were two executive sessions held to discuss personnel and indigent matters. Present for the meeting was Chairman Don Ebert and Commissioner John Allen and Commissioner Stan Leach.
