comments on skateboarding in Orofino City Park
At the regular Orofino City Council meeting Aug. 25 a public hearing
was held in regard to Ordinance 761, which governs usage of three
city parks.

Emergency Services Day events planned in Orofino
On
the first anniversary of the World Trade Center bombing the
Clearwater County Commissioners proclaimed Sept. 11 as Emergency
Services Day.
The event for this year will take place Friday, Sept. 11, 4 to 8
p.m. at Orofino City Park.

A special charitable fund has been established at U.S. Bank in
Orofino to help with medical costs for Jacob Walk.

Orofino High School student, Corey Kleer-Larson, and his brother
Andy Martin, a senior at University of Idaho, recently traveled to
San Diego, CA where they attended the 40th annual Comic-Con
convention held at the San Diegp Convention Center.

fatality occurs on Thornton Road
The Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office responded Saturday evening to
a report of a subject that had been found deceased on Thornton Road
from an apparent ATV accident.
