Lewis-Clark Special Olympics cookie dough fundraiser

Lewis-Clark Special Olympics athletes and volunteers are looking to satisfy your sweet tooth. They are now selling cookie dough as their latest fundraiser. There are ten different cookies in each box of four dozen pre-portioned, ready-to-bake dough pieces.

The cost per box ranges from $14 to $20. Cookies will be delivered in mid-September. Contact Michelle Allan at 208-746-1250 to place an order, or contact any Lewis-Clark Special Olympic athlete or volunteer.

Interested persons are also welcome to place orders with Kross Challinor, an Orofino athlete, at (208) 476-5439.

Lewis-Clark Special Olympics is fully funded by private donations. With current financial uncertainty, it is critical for the organization to raise money to maintain their operating expenses; especially with transportation, equipment costs, and uniforms.

Special Olympics offers year-round training and competition in 15 Olympic-type sports for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The Lewis-Clark program has over 90 athletes participating in various sports throughout the year.

Your support in sustaining this outstanding program will be greatly appreciated. Help give the power of sport to one more person.
