CVHC to sponsor August Golf
Scramble
Openings are available for
both golfers and hole sponsors. All proceeds benefit the programs and services
of CVHC. “We limit the number of four person teams to 18 and 13 teams have
already signed up. We use the scramble format so everyone is guaranteed a good
time,” said Jim May, CVHC Foundation
Development Director. “The scramble is followed by a lunch and awards
presentation. Each golfer is free to invite a guest to the luncheon. It’s
included in the entry fee. The scramble is an opportunity for golfers and donors
to support local health care while having a good time.”
This year there will be two
hole-in-one competitions with $10,000 prizes available. A tee shot within ten
feet of the third and twelfth holes will also be featured. Cash prizes will also
be awarded to first, second and third place teams. The entry fee of $55 per
player includes greens fee, a lunch, non alcoholic beverages plus the additional
lunch for a player’s guest.
Teams registered for the
18-hole scramble must have a minimum combined team handicap of 55 and only one
player per team can have a handicap of 12 or less.
Each team must use every
