CLEARWATER TRIBUNE HOME
JULY 29, 2010

Seventeen-year-old
Shiloh
Sharrard, from
Troy,
was the star of the
Bonner
Mountain
Music Festival, Saturday, July 24, southeast of Orofino. The crowd responded
well to her wonderful voice and the songs she sang.
Shiloh
has won the People’s Choice Award for Best Cowboy Musician four years in a row
at the Lee Earl Memorial Gathering and has appeared in the
Calgary
Stampede. Seated behind
Shiloh,
and accompanying her on the drums, was Tyler Carson.

Dyan and Steve Spence hosted
the 22nd annual
Bonner
Mountain
Music Festival at their home. The air was delightfully cooler high up above
Orofino. The music and potluck were enjoyed by the many people who showed up
with their lawn chairs and good appetites. The festival was begun by Bob and
Joyce Spence as a family reunion. They had so many requests to repeat it, that
it became a community tradition bringing in musicians from all over.
