Orofino’s Show and Shine
Committee members would like to express their appreciation to all the
participants that helped make the 7th annual Orofino Show & Shine
successful again this year. The Show & Shine was held last weekend at the

There was an old military
truck, rat rods, hot rods, muscle cars, a steam car, motorcycles, and the usual
show quality cars. The show covered
the years of 1900 to 2010. Because
of the wonderful participants a new record of attendance was set for 132
registered entrants.
The show was started for the
sole purpose of giving college bound kids a financial boost.
The committee is made up of 13 volunteer members. By making the Show &
Shine successful members were able to give out $6000 in scholarships this year
to high school students in

Colwell, Clarkston, for their 1966 Ford Mustang.

SHOW US THE SHINE-Complete with sunscreen, sunglasses and ‘binkies’ the Howland twins, Braylon and Kaden, from Lewiston showed up in their mommy-powered 2010 two-seater just in time for judging at Orofino’s Seventh Annual Show and Shine Saturday in the Orofino City Park. Although their spiffy gray convertible did not win any awards the two created quite a stir.
