1860 Days

It’s getting that time again! 1860 Days is marching nearer and we are ready-almost. The programs are here, and the committee will be busy stapling at the next meeting. Make sure you get your program early-there is a limited number.

Have you got your 1860 Days T-Shirt yet? They are now available at White Pine Credit Union and A Blue Moose. We hope you like this year’s design.

We still need volunteers for the big event, so if you would like to join the fun for a couple of hours, please let us know—you can contact Kathy at 464- 1083, or just be at the next meeting, Thursday, July 22, 6 p.m. at A Blue Moose.

Also at White Pine is the beautiful CharBroil barbeque to be given away Sunday, Aug. 8 at 1860 Days. You may buy tickets for the drawing for the barbeque, the half ounce gold miner charm, and the “Crown Royal” quilt at White Pine Credit Union and other businesses in Pierce.

We are looking for banner carriers again for the 1860 Days parade! Any kid who wishes to help carry the banners that announce the winner of each category should call Judy McCollum at 464-1312, or Kathy at 464- 1083. All children participating in the parade receive coupons for free ice cream cones, donated by Schwan's Foods.

Always, thanks to everyone for pitching in and making this the best Pierce celebration ever.
