Orofino High School Class of 1990 twenty-year reunion

The Orofino High School Class of 1990 celebrated 20-year reunion activities commencing the evening of Friday July 16 at the Riverside Pizza and Pub with a family get-together.  Saturday’s events included a no-host BBQ at the old Orofino Swimming Pool site, Champions Park, and ended with a Saturday evening event at the Lodge at Rivers Edge.

Special guests in attendance on Saturday night included retired Orofino Junior High School coach and teacher, Chad Easterbrook, and retired Orofino High School staff:  Monk Montgomery, Art Neumayer and JoAnn Hutchinson.  The OHS Class of 1990 was the final incoming freshman class Monk Montgomery welcomed before his retirement and was one of the final groups Art Neumayer taught to drive.

On Saturday evening, the class formally established a memorial scholarship in memory of their late classmate Doug Adams.  The fund will be contributed to Doug's surviving son upon his high school graduation for higher educational endeavors.

The Class of 1990 intends to hold a 25 year reunion during Lumberjack Days 2015.
