Orofino Kiwanis 5th Annual Lumberjack Fun Run/Walk Sept. 11
The Orofino Kiwanis Club is
sponsoring its 5th annual Fun Run/Walk the Saturday before Lumberjack Days.
Saturday, Sept. 11 at
Registration for the event is
$15 with a t-shirt and $10 without, before Sept. 1. Late registration is
accepted after Sept. 1 and the day of the race but the cost goes up $5.
Locations for registration forms will be announced at a later date.
Heather Leach, Chairman of
the Fun Run Committee, said, “Walking or running is such good exercise and can
be a lot of fun. We encourage people to come out to the event and walk or run,
whichever they prefer. Kiwanis is excited to offer this healthy event in order
to help fund our youth oriented community projects. Please don’t be scared away
by the 5K, it is only 3.1 miles and if you start walking or running now, you
will be in shape for Sept. 11.”
