School Board meeting at District Office July 21
The Joint School District 171 Board will hold its regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m. on July 21 at the District Office. Amongst other business will be reorganization of the School Board, with elections for Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Treasurer and Federal Programs Officer.
New hires to be approved are Rodger Fielding as Seasonal Groundskeeper and Jerry Uhling as Principal of Orofino Junior High. The resignation of Cavendish teacher Angela Barnett and a leave of absence request by Anne Riley are also on the agenda.
Preliminary ISAT Data will be presented as well as information on the Nez Perce CSHP and PANT Initiative 5-year Grant in the amount of $5,750 per year.
