Single vehicle rollover accident above CVHC

    Orofino Police Department dispatch was advised of a single vehicle rollover accident located somewhere in the area of Eureka Ridge and Dent Bridge Rd. on July 8 at approximately 10:36 p.m. The driver of the vehicle had called but wasn’t exactly clear where she was.

    As Clearwater County Sheriffs Deputies went to the area near Eureka Ridge/Dent Bridge Rd. trying to locate the accident, Orofino Police Officer Tyler Carson searched the hillside above Clearwater Valley Hospital.

    At approximately 11:14 p.m. dispatch advised the subject had been located by her husband who had been assisting in the search. Dispatch advised the location was just above Clearwater Valley Hospital; .5 miles above the intersection of Dent Bridge Road and Riverside Ave.

    When Officer Carson arrived on scene he found tracks leading over the embankment and could see a station wagon on its roof approximately 70 feet below the roadway. Clearwater County EMTs and Carson walked to the vehicle and determined the driver; Teresa M. Bradley (38) of Orofino was okay and she was able to walk up the hill on her own.

    The accident is still under investigation at this time.
