The Pierce Weippe Trail Riders club has a raffle for a new Suzuki 250. Tickets are $10 each or three for $20. The drawing will be during 1860 Days and you need not be present to win. Tickets are available at most local businesses.
The club is also sponsoring a
Fun Run on Saturday August 7. It will be a 41 mile panoramic ride above Pierce.
They have numerous prizes to award. Sign up is
at the Lions Club. Riders must be in by and the awards ceremony begins at .

Army Black Hawk
Residents in the Orofino/ Pierce area may have noticed an Idaho Army National Guard Black Hawk helicopter flying in their vicinity on Thursday, July 8. These aircraft, at one time or another, show up in all corners of our state on missions supporting local, state or federal government agencies.
