Laptop Raffle
The Pierce GEM Team is
building a new Play Park Pavilion. To help generate more funds, Support4Business
is buying a new Dell Laptop to raffle off during 1860 Days this year. The raffle
tickets are only $5 and you do not be present to win. (I will even send it
anywhere in the country!) 100% of the proceeds will go towards building the
covered pavilion.
The Specs are: Dell Inspiron
1545 Laptop, 15.6” Screen, Window 7 Home, 2.2GHZ, 250GB HD, 3GB SDRAM, CD/DVD
Burner, Web Camera, MS Works.
Pierce 1860 Days
We will have the new
sesquicentennial Pierce 1860 Days T-shirts out soon—they are printing as I
write. They will be on sale at the Timber Inn and Blue Moose, so get yours
early; they will be collectors’ items—this is one special Pierce 1860 Days.
Plans are going well for the big 150th Pierce celebration, and we are
close to printing the 1860 Days Program. It should be out soon also, and it will
be your directory for the weekend and for services from Pierce to
Parade participants are
needed—especially floats, but we will not turn anyone away! Please contact Judy

The Huckleberry Bake-Off is
looking for the great North Central Idaho bakers. Please contact Cheryl Stenzel
for entry information at 464-2201. You may also pick up an entry form at Blue
Moose.
Get your chances for the
Char-Broil BBQ Grill, the “Crown Royal” Quilt and the ½ oz Gold Miner Charm at
locations all over Pierce--$1 each or 6/$5. The drawing will be Sunday, Aug. 8,
and you do not need to be present to win. The next (BIG) meeting is Thursday,

Cemetery Friends
H.P.C.F will be holding a
Memorial Flag Raffle. The winner will receive a certificate for a memorial flag,
flagpole, in-ground holder, and a memorial plaque. The drawing will be held
Sunday, August 8 during 1860 Days. Winner does not need to be present to win.
