Celebrate the Fourth of July in Orofino

   Many activities are being planned for Orofino’s All-American Fourth of July Celebration Sunday at the Orofino City Park.

   Day’s events start with The 4th Annual 4^th of July River Raft Race at 2 p.m. A Parade honoring our veterans will begin at 5:30 p.m.  The Rotary BBQ begins at 4 p.m. and the Rotary Log Drive will take place at 7 p.m. The log drive may need to be postponed if Orofino Creek is high.

   Barbecue plate price is $7 per person and consists of choice of a hamburger, cheeseburger or hot dog, with baked beans, chips, water or soda. The BBQ is at the park.

   Live Music by Lukenbill-Faller will start at 7:30 p.m. at the City Park Gazebo. A free professional fireworks show by Entertainment Express Fireworks, Inc. of Olympia, WA will light up the night sky at 10:10 p.m.
