Pierce 1860 Days

1860 Days is fast approaching! T-Shirts will be available by this weekend; you’ll love the colors—look for them at various businesses or ask a committee member. They are a very affordable, $13.50.

The auction following the parade will now feature, in addition to the stainless steel fire ring by John Bergen, a truckload of rock donated by Solid Rock Gravel Company of Weippe. We thank Jason Berreth for this generous donation. Another item for auction, Cordless Grass Shears, donated by Hayes Foods; thank you for this donation also.

More items for auction will be added, so keep watching! The schedule of events will go to print this week, so watch for the posters and plan your weekend.

The Huckleberry Bake-Off will return to Friday along with the Pie and Ice Cream Social, so, bakers, dust off those recipes and start your ovens! We would like to see many entries in the Bake-Off; makes it that much yummier for all of us tasters! Entry forms will be available soon.

Don’t forget to enter the Dutch Oven Cook-Off on Saturday, Aug. 1. You can pick up entry forms from the Outback, or call Colleen or Harv at 464-2171.
