CLEARWATER TRIBUNE HOME

JUNE 24, 2010

We still have puppies!

We recently came into possession of several puppies. More have been adopted, but many more remain. We want to find good homes for all of them. If you can provide a safe, fun, loving home for any of these little guys and gals, give us a call at 476-9823.

Our policy on strays

All stray dogs and cats are vaccinated upon arrival for their safety and the safety of the other dogs and cats. They are also neutered and spayed on the sixth (6) day. All costs are the responsibility of the owner claiming the dog. Strays are held for five (5) days and then are for adoption.

Lost and found

“Choco,” pictured, went missing June 12 in the Orofino area. He is a caramel brown-colored lab mix with one small white spot on his chest, and weighs 75 to 80 pounds. He has a microchip, but no collar. Choco walks with a slight limp. He’s very friendly.

Cat went missing June 9 from the Kalaspo Avenue/Orofino Elementary School area. She is very friendly, and has been spayed. She is long-haired, black, gray, brown striped with white around her neck and white on her paws. Her owner moved and cannot find her. Please call if you have seen this can - she needs to get back to her owner.

Lost from Middle Road in Cavendish. Female Australian Shepherd/Border Collie cross wearing a collar with ID information. Owners are devastated. If you have any information, please call 9823.

Lost on 5/16/10 from 118th St. area off highway 12, female black cat, smaller in size. Her name is Jiggs. She is 18 years old and has recently been ill and needs medical attention. If you have seen a smaller black cat in this area please call us: the owner is offering a reward and is very concerned about getting Jiggs back.

Lost on 5/9/10 from Legacy Lane, three miles out of Kendrick heading toward Dworshak. Female dog, ten years old, spayed, wearing a dark brown or black collar with pet ID tag. Her name is Cassie. She is a shepherd/Lab X with floppy ears and is gray with black markings. Please call if you have any information.

Went missing on April 30 in the Canoe Camp area of Hwy. 12. Female, spayed, six year old cat, mostly white coat with black/brown/tan patches. Has blue eyes. Not wearing a collar. If you have seen this cat, please call 476-9823.

If you find a stray dog, please contain the dog or cat, if you feel it is safe to do so, and then call. Many times I get a call from someone that has a stray but by the time I get there the person calling says the dog ran off.

Please contain in a yard or tie the dog until I get there. We want to keep these poor dogs safe and either find their owners or get them a wonderful lifetime home.

All stray dogs and cats are vaccinated and wormed upon arrival for their safety and the safety of the other dogs and cats. They are also neutered and spayed after a five (5) day waiting period. All costs are the responsibility of the owner claiming the dog or cat. Strays are held for five days and then are up for adoption.

If you recognize any of the above strays and know who the owner is, please call. We want to get these wonderful dogs and cats back to their homes. Call 476-9823.
