Where have all our children gone?

   This week’s Mystery Child was born in Weippe and lived in Clearwater County most of her life. She attended Orofino School which is now the Jr. High. Her father and brother were both barbers in town and she has fond memories of a business along the Clearwater River that her parents owned and operated.

   Last week’s Mystery Children were the Munck sisters – Anna Lee, Wanda. and Myrna, daughters of Anna and Oscar Munck.

   Myrna (Munck) Ely, the youngest of the three, lives in Pierce. She worked for years as a teacher’s aide and stays busy sewing. Wanda (Munck) Head resides in Peck where she is still remembered as the Postmaster. Wanda enjoys bowling and playing cards. Sadly, the eldest of the three sisters, Anna Lee (Munck) Moore has since passed away but was quite the harmonica player in her day.
