Fifties friends meet
Class speakers at the OHS
multi-class reunion dinner at the Best Western Lodge at River's Edge Conference
Center last Saturday included Bob Dahl, OHS '57 a retired banker from San
Francisco, Mary Lucas Filkins OHS '54 retired teacher from Allyn, WA, John
Werner, OHS '55, retired printing consultant from Scarsdale, NY, and Shirley
Mittendorf LeBlanc, OHS '56, travel agent, from Oak Harbor, WA.
They were among the 200 plus
classmates, spouses, and teacher-guests for the three-day event, including
coaches, Monk Montgomery and Art Neumayer, plus music teachers, Wally Schenk and
Woody Bausch.
Chair of the reunion planning committee was Merle Bobbitt Loseth, OHS '53, who convened the meeting and also spoke.
