Orofino’s Fourth of July River Raft Race

A River Raft Race will take place on July 4 at 2 p.m. The race is open to anyone 15 years of age or older. Participants 15 to 17 years of age must present signed parental approval when registering raft. The cost to enter is $15 per participant. Money raised from the River Raft Race will go towards the free fireworks show in the park. Life jackets with whistles are required to be worn by all participants.

Kayaks, canoes, tubes, or pontoon boats will be permitted to enter the race, but are not eligible for the cash place prizes. The race will start above Greer and will end at the Orofino Bridge.
