Sharrard arrested
for burglary
James C. Sharrard,
18, was arrested Tuesday for felony burglary and other charges,
according to Orofino Police Department (OPD).
At approximately
A female victim
reported that she observed a male subject inside her vehicle. After
confronting the subject he gave back what he had stolen from the
vehicle and left the scene, according to OPD.
After acquiring
initial information and a description of the suspect, Officer Carson
and Orofino Police Chief Jeff Wilson began to search for a male
subject who was reported to have left the area on foot.
The alleged
suspect, James C. Sharrard, 18, of Orofino was apprehended by Chief
Wilson, taken into custody and transported to the Clearwater County
Jail for booking on charges of Felony Burglary (Idaho Code 18-1401),
Resisting/Obstructing an officer (Idaho Code 18-705), and Alcoholic
Beverage-Possess/ Consume/Purchase by a minor (Idaho Code 23-949).
While Officer Carson was conducting his initial investigation he was advised of a second victim who reported that items had also been taken from his vehicle, according to OPD.
