Everet Martin reported that
the Hilltop Heritage Committee co-sponsored Sunday’s “Weippe All School
Reunion”. This event was a great success with the community hall being filled to
capacity. The entire day was wonderful.
Because of the generous
support of those attending, the museum will be able to stay open for the
foreseeable future. Everet Martin, Chairman of both committees, would like thank
everyone who attended and who supported the museum.
The Pine Wood Derby will be
held at the church Saturday, June 5. Schedule of events include car weigh in at
Linda Wood’s family visited

District is partnering with the Pierce Pool to offer half price swim lessons to
all children who live within the district's boundaries. You can sign up by

participate in the community garage sale. They will hold a PLANT and Glass sale

everyone who supports their fund raising events. They are a non-profit
organization that invests profits in the community. This is a Win-Win
situation.
Condolences
We would like to express
sympathy to the family of Leonard Powers. He is a retired teacher, who touched
the lives of many young people in our community. His contributions to the
community are greatly appreciated.
Upcoming Rendezvous
Pacific Primitive Rendezvous
2010 will be from June 18 to June 25, in Weippe. The only time non-participants will
be allowed on site will be for the guided camp tours on Saturday, June 19. Times
