A Memorial Day Ceremony at Canon Park was held Monday by Veterans of VFW Post 3296. Pictured on the left is Allen Brockman. In front of him (l to r) are Steven Lee, Roger Myers, Bill Snow, Lou Reed, Guido, Hubert Sims, and Leo Dub.

Honoring veterans everywhere, beautiful flags stand at attention along the edges of the Orofino Cemetery on Memorial Day.

Members of VFW Post 3296 gave a 21 gun salute at the bridge entering Orofino. Pictured (l to r) are Gordon Bansemer, Clifford Zierlein, Don Ostrander, and Marvin George.

Carl Cook blew Taps at the Orofino Bridge this Memorial Day. As onlookers respectfully watched, a wreath was dedicated and put into the water of the Clearwater River to honor those men and women who lost their lives in service to their country. Pictured to the left of Carl Cook is Marvin George. Taps was also played at the start of the ceremony by Bill Thomas.
