    Mike Hoffman will retire from the Idaho Soil Conservation Commission on June 4. There will be an open reception to honor Mike at the Ponderosa Restaurant banquet room on June 5 from 6 to 8 p.m.

    A 17-year-old Grangeville girl received minor injuries Sunday afternoon in an ATV accident on Arneson Road in Clearwater County.

  • Sleepy driver causes accident
    Harry Vandevender, 85, of Vancouver, WA told a Clearwater County Sheriff's deputy Saturday afternoon he fell asleep causing the 1998 Buick he was driving to overturn on the edge of Hwy 11 at milepost 3 near Greer.

  • Weippe resident, Frank Dietz found dead
    The annual Weippe Camas Festival met a tragic start for one family Saturday morning, May 29, when 48-year-old Frank Dietz of Weippe was found dead in a smoldering bonfire shortly after 6:30 a.m.
