    Qualifying events started at 2 p.m. and the main events started at 6:30 p.m. There were 154 entries including nationally known professional riders – Cory Graffunder, Kyle Redmond, Rory Sullivan, David Kamo, Jeff Aaron, Jaime Lanza, Derek Mahoney, Joe Kopp (professional flat track racer), Jon Seehorn, and Josh Buell.

    The Orofino Merchants American Legion baseball team will begin practicing Monday, May 30 at 5 p.m.  Practices will be held at Orofino High School.

  • School Board moves forward with budget reduction measures
    Annette Haag thanked the board for increasing the Supplemental Levy amount and the community for passing the much needed levy. She had concerns regarding the Last Best Offer that was on the agenda. She noted that negotiations are still in progress. She encouraged board members to go through all the steps fully. To impose the LBO, makes it appear that negotiations have failed when there have been many positive strides made.

    Tuesday was the Orofino Health and Welfare office's last day to remain open.
