prepares for community center fundraiser
By Norma

Memorial Day will bring
visits to cemeteries all over this country. The lawns are trimmed and flowers
will brighten up the stones of family members and friends. The war in the
Middle East has added many more monuments to fallen heroes; it is a time to reflect
on the good times and sad times. To “Remember.”
FRASER YARD SALE
The fundraiser for the
Fraser
Community
Center
is planned for Saturday, June 5 from
8 a.m. to
3 p.m.
Money raised will go to the Indoor Bathroom Fund. Donations are needed, we are
looking for household items, children’s toys, games, dishes, garden tools,
anything that is in good shape and you no longer need. Call Gini Donnelly at
435-4525 or Norma Brand at 435-4354 to arrange delivery.
Congratulations to Tyson
and Cheyenne Thornton on the birth of their son Jackson Curtis.
Jackson
was born on May 18 at
Clearwater
Valley
Hospital
in Orofino. He weighed 7 pounds 15.3 ounces and measured 23 inches long.
Jackson’s
grandparents are Wayne and Lisa Thornton and Mike Jackson and Shannon Broyles.
His great-grandparents are Carl and RoseAnna Thornton and Mick and Darlene
Jackson.
Shirley and Keith Lutes
attended the wedding of their grandson Adam Allen and his bride Jade Bonnalie.
The wedding was held at the Red Lion Inn in
Lewiston,
and the reception was at the Yacht Club Annex. Shirley reported it was a
beautiful wedding with a full house of relatives and friends. Congratulations to
the newlyweds. Adam and Jade will make their home in
Lewiston.
Donna Brown made a trip
to
Nampa on Mother’s Day to spend time with her granddaughter
Lydia McIntosh.
Lydia’s
sister Grace, her mother Danette, and her father Josh flew to
San Francisco,
CA
for the wedding of her uncle Isaac McIntosh. Grace was the flower girl at the
wedding. We hear she had a great time. Back home,
Lydia
and Grandma Donna spent quality time together, while the family toured
San Francisco.
A moose was sighted at
the farm of Donna and Danny Brown on Tuesday night and Reggie and Peggy Ball
have photos of two cougars that spent some time near their home. They have a
camera stationed on a game trail that crosses their property. Ask them to show
you the photos of all the critters they have captured on film.
Peggy and Reggie Ball
attended the 50th birthday party of Sandy Moore on Friday, May 14.
Happy Birthday goes out
to Charlotte Bonner on June 2.
Happy Anniversary goes
out to Donna and Danny Brown on June 1, and on June 3 to Larry and Sherry
Schlader and Tony and Heather Christopherson.
Enjoy a safe Memorial
Day.
