Stephen Kessinger receives medical degree

   Stephen Ray Kessinger, son of A. Jay and the late DonLina Lund Kessinger of Orofino, received his medical degree at the graduation ceremony for the Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine Nevada held at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, NV on May 16.

   The graduation ceremony was attended by several members of Stephen’s family, which included his father, Jay Kessinger, Orofino; Melanie and Lonnie Richardson, Lewiston; Donette and Stanley Hope, Port Angeles, WA; Darcell Myers, Pullman, WA; Shannon Landrith, Milton, MA: Jason Kessinger, Orofino; Michael Kessinger, Lewiston and Marie Leavitt, Dolan Springs, AZ.

   After they visit with family in the Boise and Orofino area for a few weeks Stephen and his wife, Amber Gull Kessinger, will move to Pennsylvania where Stephen will begin a four year residency program in emergency medicine at the Albert Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia. Along with Stephen’s involvement in his residency, Amber plans to continue her studies in Social Work.
