The save the Pierce Pool auction is this Saturday. The

A “benefit baked food sale” will be held in front of the VUG 9 a.m.,
Monday May 17. The sale is for Dave Vaughn who has been diagnosed with
pancreatic cancer. He is having extensive surgery on May 20. He isn’t expected
to be home for about 25 days. Dave and his family are facing a very tough road.
Donations and or foods would be greatly appreciated. Any questions, call-Chris

The 1860 Days Committee is hosting a community yard sale!
We are inviting everyone to participate in this sale on Saturday, June 26, from
The 1860 Days committee is accepting any donations for
their 'booth', and as you know, all proceeds go toward making our
sesquicentennial event August 6, 7, & 8 the best ever. Anyone interested in
being a big part of this community yard sale should call Kathy at 464-1083, so
you can secure your spot for the day. This is free and open to individuals and
groups, and we encourage you all to participate in this! Start cleaning out
those closets!
The next 1860 Days committee meeting is Thursday, May 27,
Pierce/Weippe ATV Club
The club will be holding a special meeting this Friday at
the Lions Club to discuss the upcoming Fun Run to be held June 5. They would
like to remind everyone there are tickets on sale for a brand new Suzuki 250 ATV
at all local businesses in Pierce and Weippe.

June 12th is the annual fishing tournament sponsored by
the Pierce/Weippe Chamber at Deer Creek. This event coincides with free fishing
