I appreciate the assistance of the community in obtaining news for this column. Within the next few weeks, a new “stringer” will be reporting the Weippe news. The term “stringer” comes from the old system of measuring the length of a column by use of a string, which was then transferred to column inches, indicating amount of payment to the reporter or “stringer.”
Nancy Tschida will be the new “stringer”. Please send your news to her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
