Where have all our children gone?

   This little gal is one of the old timers left in town. She came to Orofino with her parents, one sister and three brothers in 1925. She attended all of the Orofino schools.

   In 1937, she married the best looking lumber piler in town and raised a large family. In July she will celebrate her 91st birthday.

   Can you guess this week’s Mystery Child?

   Last week’s Mystery Children were Robert and Sandra Hammond.

   Robert graduated from OHS in 1968. As mentioned last week, he was a logger and worked also for C-T fire camp. He married a local girl, Kathy Wallace. They had two sons, Wade and Nathan, and now five grandchildren. Sadly, Robert died ten years ago.

   Sandra graduated from OHS in 1967. She married Bill Wheeler and they also have two sons, Michael and Dale and five grandchildren.

   The one and only person to correctly identify last week’s Mystery Children was Mike Apfelbeck.
