Two losses end Timberline season

   Timberline ended its season with losses to Lewis County and Troy at the District I-II tournament May 2-3.

Lewis Co. 4, Timberline 3

   Lewis County scored on a passed ball in the bottom of the seventh inning to edge Timberline in the District I-II tournament opener May 2.

   Bryce Stigum, who struck out three, tossed a four-hitter for the Eagles.

   Skyler Hendrin struck out nine in a losing effort.

Troy 14, Timberline 11

   With a seven-run second inning, Troy took charge and captured an elimination win over Timberline. 14-11, in the 1A District I-II tournament May 3.

   The Trojans bunched four hits and three walks into the second inning. Of the seven runs, five were earned.

Culdesac blanks Lady Spartans

   Sara Dau fired a two-hitter and drove in two runs as Culdesac blanked Timberline 12-0 in five innings .
