Two-vehicle collision on Main Street

   A two-vehicle collision on Main Street, Orofino April 29 sent a 24-year-old Orofino man to the hospital, according to Orofino Police Department (OPD).

   Officer Vincent Frazier of OPD was dispatched to a two vehicle crash at 221 Main Street Thursday morning. Upon his arrival at the scene Officer Frazier found a black pickup in the street and a red car on the sidewalk, on the north side of the road. Both vehicles had sustained damage to the front, according to OPD. 

   Wayne Olson, 75, of Orofino and driver of the pickup, had pulled away from the curb and was attempting a U-turn to travel west. He struck a red car driven by Patrick Graber, 24, of Orofino, also traveling west on Main Street, according to OPD.

   Olson advised that he did not see the vehicle driven by Graber, according to OPD. Graber was transported to Clearwater Valley Hospital and Olson was later cited for inattentive driving.
