Mitchell Tanner Jared (pictured left), son of Mitch and Julie Jared of
Pierce is the Valedictorian of the 2008 graduating class of Timberline High
School. Hayden Tyrell Jared, son of Barbie and Tom Jared of Weippe, is the
Salutatorian.
Tanner plans to attend the University of Idaho in pursuit of a Master’s Degree in Engineering or Criminal Justice. He said playing sports has been his most memorable experience during his time at Timberline High School due to the good times and many valuable lessons learned.
In 10 years he sees himself as beginning a successful life somewhere in the Northwest.
Hayden plans on attending the College of Idaho in Caldwell and as now wants to major in English and Education with a minor in Psychology. In 10 years he sees himself far from here. He hopes to be an active teacher by then if I am not traveling abroad.
His most memorable high school experience was his trip to FCCLA state in Boise. This year his group won top gold and will be going to Orlando, FL to compete at the national level this summer. He said “This competition will be my last participation in a high school event.”
Timberline High School graduation is May 30
The 2008 graduating class of Timberline High School consists of 28 seniors to be graduated in exercises at 7 p. m. Friday, May 30 at the Timberline High School gymnasium.
Mitchell Tanner Jared is class Valedictorian and Hayden Tyrell Jared is Salutatorian.
Class officers are Dusty Daniels, president, Rachel Cochrell, vice president, Tanner Jared, secretary and Brandi Nesheim, representative.
Class song is Letter to Me by Brad Paisley and the class flower is the yellow rose.
The class motto is “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience but where he stands during challenges and controversy" - Martin Luther King.
