No place like home

The benefit that was held this weekend showed us once again why living "on the hill" can be such an awesome place to be. Pierce and Weippe rallied together, people traveled literally hundreds of miles (and a few even further) to come together and show their support.

The day long event was attended by close to 500 people. The band wrapped it up by stating they have done benefits for over 30 years and they have never seen anything like what took place that day, the emotional and monetary support was unbelievable. Words can hardly express what was felt throughout the day.

Is it spring yet?

Perhaps it’s really so, we only had several days this past week of snow, hail and sleet and several beautiful glorious sunshine days that melted a considerable amount of snow. Tuesday is a rainy day but that’s ok as it melts snow :)

There is still 12 feet of snow on Hemlock Butte and Shanghai has seven feet. I heard there was still 27 feet on HooDoo Pass.
