School board to meet April 28 at Timberline
At the April 28 meet of the School District #171at Timberline school the board will hear resignations, new hires, reports and action items. The meeting starts at 7 p.m.
Under resignations are the names of Melissa Taufest as Orofino Junior High (OJH) custodian and Kaye Weller from the Orofino High School National Honor Society.
New hires are Melissa Brouwers as OJH assistant track coach, Pete Armichardy, substitute bus driver and Michael McDade, seasonal groundskeeper.
Recognition was given for the First Move Chess Program grant of $1,250, naming Donna Weger and Michelle Dobson-Sellers.
Action items include a leave of absence request by Shannon Osborn, hire teachers for 2008-09 and hire classified staff for 2008-09.
