Bomb threat at Orofino High School
At approximately 11:46 a.m. Tuesday the Orofino Police Department received a call from Jeff Wright at the Orofino High School. Wright advised that the school had just received a bomb threat against the school. It was reported a note was written on a bathroom stall indicating that a bomb was going to go off at a specific time.
Orofino police officers responded to the high school along with assistance from the Clearwater County Sheriff Deputies. All students and faculty were evacuated from the building to an outside area of the school grounds while officers conducted a complete search of the school looking for anything suspicious.
All officers cleared the school at 2:40 p.m. after not finding anything to indicate there was a bomb on the grounds.
Investigation is ongoing at this time according to the Orofino Police Department.
