RESULTS Should the Westboro Baptists’ “Thank God for Dead Soldiers” remarks be protected by the First Amendment?
37% Yes. Whether or not I agree with them, they should be permitted to believe whatever they wish. 19% No. I think the authorities should shut them up. 44% I don’t know. I don’t approve of them, but I also don’t think it’s the authorities’ place to tell them what they can and can’t believe in.
